Tribeca Stacked is formed from very fine-grained mud deposits that have compacted naturally over time, resulting in a dense, uniform, and highly durable stone. Its composition contains a relatively high percentage of organic matter, including natural sulfur content, which helps protect the surface against fungal growth — making it especially suitable for humid and outdoor environments.

Minor natural re-crystallization within the stone has created small calcite crystals, giving the surface a delicate, glittery effect when exposed to light. This subtle shimmer adds depth and character while maintaining a refined, contemporary look.

With very low porosity and permeability, Tribeca offers excellent resistance to water absorption, staining, and weathering.
