Material & Design Details
Ceara Limestone – Roman Pattern combines the technical performance of compacted limestone with the timeless elegance of a classic modular layout. The Roman pattern, composed of multiple tile sizes arranged in a balanced and harmonious design, adds visual interest and a sophisticated architectural rhythm to outdoor spaces.
Formed in a Sabkha sedimentary environment, Ceara Limestone consists of lime pellets, fossils, and foraminifers cemented by translucent lime cement (sparite). This specific process of sedimentation and cementation results in a densely packed stone with low porosity and low permeability, ensuring minimal water absorption and excellent durability.
The stone performs exceptionally well in full sun conditions and does not require a sealer, making it a low-maintenance solution for terraces, pool decks, and even interior swimming pools. Its refined cream color is derived from iron carbonates naturally present in the stone. Thanks to its minimal permeability, these iron ions remain stable and do not oxidize into brown patches, preserving a clean and uniform appearance over time.
By combining durability, safety, and an elegant modular layout, Ceara Limestone in Roman Pattern is an ideal decorative solution for outdoor landscapes, poolside areas, and architectural projects seeking a classic yet enduring design.
